## What is the Blend Dashboard?

Since BLND represents a collateralized basket of PoS assets, there is a fluctuating NAV (Net Asset Value) associated with it. To make sure our community is in line with the price of BLND we created a dashboard to show a live representation of the BLND NAV.

# STKR (Staker) FAQ and Docs

This space will guide you through the recently asked questions about StakerDAO and connect you to our Github/APIs.

## What is STKR?

**STKR is the community-owned token used to govern StakerDAO.** STKR is used by community members to submit proposals to the DAO and to vote on those proposals. Proposals cover all aspects of how the DAO works including:

* Adjusting fees associated with the usage of StakerDAO products (wXTZ, wALGO, BLND, STKR)
* Specifying and funding new projects to be built by community specified teams. &#x20;
* Spending funds for any contribution or related expense from the StakerDAO Treasury

## How can I participate in StakerDAO discussions and product ideation?

Discussions about new products happen across our social media channels, but the majority occur through the [Forum](https://forum.stakerdao.com/) and [Discord](https://discord.gg/CMadePvNVr).

Before ideas turn into proposals, they are shared for discussion on the forum by the community. We welcome you to join and take part in shaping the future of decentralized finance!

## How does the StakerDAO governance work?

StakerDAO is a governance protocol run by a community of blockchain and finance enthusiasts who make governance decisions for building cross-chain, decentralized financial assets in a compliant manner. STKR is the community-owned token used to govern StakerDAO.&#x20;

1\. Ideas for new products or changes to existing products originate in the StakerDAO forums.

2\. The StakerDAO ecosystem includes three main elements - Staker Advisory, STKR token holder Community, and Staker Development Teams. STKR is the community-owned governance token used to govern StakerDAO.

3\. All STKR (Staker) token holders can vote on proposals. Proposals that reach a quorum of yes votes are approved.

4\. Approved proposals are built and deployed by incentivized community members.

5\. The StakerDAO products are used on-chain and may connect across chains with the StakerBridge Protocol.

6\. The community decides how it uses STKR (Staker) tokens in its treasury to support the entire process of building, operating, and governing StakerDAO.

## STKR Tokenomics and Characteristics

STKR was initially distributed on both [Ethereum](https://etherscan.io/token/0x89dcff5fd892f2bfc8b75dba12804b651f769579) and [Tezos](https://better-call.dev/mainnet/KT1AEfeckNbdEYwaMKkytBwPJPycz7jdSGea/storage) at launch. These tokens are equivalent in the usage of governance and can be moved back and forth between these chains via StakerBridge.

* Total supply 300,000,000 STKR as ERC20 and as an FA 1.2.
* [Staker Governance process](https://gov2.stakerdao.com/proposals) is available for proposal submission and voting via connected wallet on both Ethereum and Tezos.  1% of circulating STKR is required to submit a proposal.  4% of circulating STKR is required for quorum, with a simple majority approving proposals. &#x20;

## ETH / wXTZ UNISWAP LP TOKEN FARM

### **How to Farm Staker (STKR) with wXTZ and ETH \[OLD]**

**Getting Set Up**

First things first, if you already have both wXTZ and ETH on Ethereum, please skip to step 4. If you already provided liquidity for the pair on Uniswap, please skip to step 7. Otherwise, keep on reading!

**Step 1:**\
If you have not yet minted wXTZ, please see this guide: [How to mint, send, and manage Wrapped Tezos (wXTZ) within Galleon](https://app.gitbook.com/@stakerdao/s/stakerdao-faq-and-docs/wrapped-tezos-wxtz-faq-and-docs). You will want to mint wXTZ within Galleon, send it to your Temple wallet and proceed to the next step.

**Step 2:**\
Now that you have your wXTZ in your Temple wallet, please see this guide to move wXTZ from Tezos to Ethereum. [How to Bridge from Tezos to Ethereum](https://app.gitbook.com/@stakerdao/s/stakerdao-faq-and-docs/wrapped-tezos-wxtz-faq-and-docs).

**Step 3:**\
Great! Now you have wXTZ on Ethereum and if your wallet holds ETH already, you’re ready to provide liquidity on Uniswap.

**Providing Liquidity**

**Step 4:**\
Head over to Uniswap V2, specifically the ETH:wXTZ pair liquidity pool. Here is a direct link to the pool: <https://app.uniswap.org/#/add/v2/ETH/0x2A69655C22eDa32ff48d315bB26ED45f150700b4>

![](https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/Ftbe1UUtG0LlmcBFrSO5ll0m4qPwg2MpaCaGpiuYwTzPiaXja999kflSqCjkIsTajUAKCW24SRZrxeYD-la7SDaXbdgwcBmg-bwkAgM2CyoeGrlfQnSkxHd54Gl75WrFkCdfRdev)

**Step 5:**\
Connect your wallet and decide how much wXTZ or ETH you want to add. The other pair will automatically populate with the amount. For example, in the image above, for every 1 ETH you add, you will need 427 wXTZ.&#x20;

*Note: Make sure you’re using the right wXTZ contract. You can double check by looking at the token contract address:*&#x20;

```
0x2A69655C22eDa32ff48d315bB26ED45f150700b4
```

![](https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/QjuI_g_yW2aSffd4ssA9daa7ACdi-Qh3OaF-qlKMPsNlh1GAcXEL8_9AkKEr70zVVFDNZdFwmWp3xfWV3vH-qKFnAGFhgFCVWtty8x1EkkMLVUUu6p12oHDyIqggQ-HsywcdORQG)

**Step 6:**\
Click on Supply when you’re ready and confirm the transaction within MetaMask. Once it confirms, you will have LP tokens representing your liquidity! In case you can’t view it in MetaMask, please add it as a custom address:&#x20;

```
0x950182897e43436B37f04D1fE36fc5628D1ee3fb
```

**Note:** You can always go to: <https://app.uniswap.org/#/pool> and connect your wallet to manage your LP position. At some point, you may want to add more liquidity or remove it.

**Step 7:**\
Now that you have your LP tokens, we’re onto the final part, please go to: <https://farm.stakerdao.com/>

**Staking**

**Step 8:**\
Click on “Stake”. You will connect your wallet and have to confirm two transactions, one to approve the use of your LP tokens and one to stake the LP tokens. Please make sure to input an amount inside the box.

**Step 9:**\
After you complete the transactions, it may take a bit for the UI to update, but you will eventually see your tokens staked! You will also see STKR tokens accrue in "Unclaimed STKR". .

![](/files/-McMpljpLhL2BTTrGaeY)

**Step 10:**\
If you're done farming, you can click on "Max" and "Claim and Unstake" to claim your STKR tokens and remove some or all of your liquidity (please input an amount).

**Step 11:**\
We won’t go through the entire process, but hopefully, you’re comfortable enough to use your LP tokens to remove the liquidity you provided on Uniswap, bridge back to Tezos and unlock your XTZ. Of course, you don’t have to do this. Remember, that outside of STKR tokens you are rewarded, you also share in 0.30% of transaction fees for providing liquidity on Uniswap.

**Good luck and** [**surf on over to our Discord**](https://discord.gg/zU4wxE5u) **if you have any questions.** &#x20;

## How to Farm STKR

1. Please provide liquidity on Quipuswap or Uniswap V2 first so you can generate LP tokens.&#x20;
2. Once you have your LP tokens, navigate to our farm site and find the pool in which you want to farm. Click on "Stake".

4\. Click on "Stake" and input an amount you would like to deposit. You will have to confirm 3 transactions. Also, please select a value slightly smaller than "Max" allows for so instead of 1.001, try 1.00.&#x20;

![](https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/RIaQpp2qR6fKbQAVVo5OusF-2Dj5CIBkyGT-RxT6Bm2S8MUNjdA_h0R75qAQ6wHnvI2yGTs4pviFMo1uHpObePNIlrj4dAC2whq9wTsXQJ31HGFJeNoeuvv37X6ibAhEhOK3wWbN)

5\. After you complete the transactions, it may take a bit for the UI to update, but you will eventually see your tokens staked! You will also see STKR tokens accrue in "Unclaimed STKR".&#x20;

&#x20;6\. If you're done farming, you can click on "Max" and "Claim and Unstake" to claim your STKR tokens and remove some or all of your liquidity (please input an amount).&#x20;

7\. Please note, STKR tokens may auto claim if you stake additional amounts.\ <br>

# StakerBridge Protocol

Bridging the Cross-Chain DeFi Economy

## What is StakerBridge?

**An open-source, trustless, method for transferring a token from one chain to another.**

The StakerBridge process modifies the TokenSwap open-source algorithm so that a single party is both the transmitter and receiver of their token, enabling a seamless transfer of tokens from one chain to another.

The StakerBridge algorithm is specifically structured so that this single party can move a token on one network to another network in a trustless model. If either side of the transaction fails to process, the user’s tokens are unlocked on the originating network.

**The methodology ultimately only allows for one of two options:**&#x20;

![](/files/-MGogKF2wIl0gtD7U-He)

{% hint style="info" %}
&#x20;The TokenSwap protocol is a modification of a two-party swap as presented by a professor in the computer science department at Brown University in July of 2018. The paper is titled "Atomic Cross-Chain Swaps" and the link to the paper is here: <https://dl.acm.org/doi/pdf/10.1145/3212734.3212736>. The paper outlines a methodology for which two parties can exchange their tokens without the need to trust each other.<br>
{% endhint %}

## **Decentralizing the management of StakerBridge**

Any party can be an operator of the StakerBridge protocol. That party can deploy the open-source StakerBridge software, configure the send and receive reservoirs, and optionally, designate a fee for a successful bridging of tokens. In order for a bridge to occur, a reservoir of tokens must reside on both the originating and receiving networks, and the operator is responsible for facilitating tokens in reservoirs on both sides of the bridge. Should insufficient tokens be available for the bridge, the protocol always gracefully fails and returns the funds to the originating address of the party.

## **The StakerBridge process**

**The process occurs as follows:**

In this scenario, StakerDAO is the Operator (The operator server is the software that listens for requests to bridge) of this StakerBridge implementation, and our user is “Alice”.

![The StakerBridge process](/files/-MGo4WsRUlVpou7hjkJy)

* After the server has withdrawn Alice’s tokens on Blockchain A, Alice can then unlock her tokens at any time on Blockchain B. The server has no ability to prevent Alice from performing this action because the server has revealed "S".
* If the server never begins the process of transferring Alice’s tokens to the reservoir, then both the server and Alice’s tokens are unlocked after a period of time, 48hrs and 24hrs, respectively.&#x20;

\
**Summary:** StakerDAO will act as an Operator, which will listen to requests from users like Alice to bridge their asset (BLND, wALGO, wXTZ, STKR) from one blockchain network to another. When Alice signals an intent to ‘bridge’, the Operator confirms and generates a secret “S” while sharing hash “H” with Alice. Alice will lock her tokens on her respective network and the Operator will lock an equivalent amount on the network Alice would like to bridge to. The Operator now locks Alice’s tokens into a reservoir and allows Alice to withdraw the Operator’s locked tokens.

## How to Bridge from Ethereum to Tezos

In the following example, we’ll walk through how to bridge the BLND token from Ethereum to Tezos using StakerBridge.

**NOTE: If you’d like to move more than 10,000 BLND, please reach out to us through** [**Discord**](https://discord.gg/aDFwM64vAG)**.**

**Step 1:**\
First, go to [bridge-blnd.stakerdao.com](http://bridge-blnd.stakerdao.com/).&#x20;

![](https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/hEOzT96UXdhG2XDH0JryMJgm78vuat7MJF8RzYpjcn0bSc68Ezzqyl_8cSAVwwSJ5kjUAjwW1Va0FRyLWgSjd5dujAPhC3nPxE5JLE5eqve5BYoLFqbDD1un5waeosyO7G7Ez94l)

**Step 2:**\
Connect your MetaMask wallet and your Temple (ex. Thanos) wallet. Your screen should look like the below now:

![](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/05AirXM5bYrD-6mJOhZDQuJi22nWNhqwUtFjMd-gTA_wHd7hATrLoKosBATHmB-8Oe37AAVnQfdqFU3jFVCaYHn1A-ZwgJcA-hA8gni8Zb1BBUGXjZW8BI3XB-eX6ZIFL-lXmBCj)

**Step 3:**\
Enter an amount on the left hand side that you have on Ethereum, but that you want to move to the Tezos network. Click on “Submit Bridge”

**Step 4:**\
The page will then display the maximum time it should take to bridge over as well as the fee it will charge to bridge over. This is a small fee to cover costs for the operator, but you will incur additional fees on Ethereum and Tezos for the transactions.

![](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/WzHwp9g3rru9dOKcmhfVEKHjzO7tlOEJzRIxv_eqry62In3AKy0omjwhFai0sKE_msLwouQ_fqpjJ4y7jtl_m1nTCW94waro-K40uGmGq1QkcHokdZ4_59e1cjtIR4SoUEZkvU-G)

**Step 5:**\
If that all sounds ok to you, click on “Bridge”. MetaMask will pop up and ask you to confirm a transaction. This is one of two transactions on the Ethereum side and the more expensive one. Once confirmed, please wait for several minutes for it to proceed to the 2nd step. Depending on the cost of gas (gwei), this transaction may cost $20-$80.

Note: There is no need to worry or remember the secret Hash at the bottom of the page.

![](https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/jVThxUM_FTJhxdctJgG9J572c4YtCsBZBygNSx2yx0OgsgX7oqT8vNI7LglPLUDCrVRa0rBPSvGJBfD07Z_yiM5HzA2_MGnYF55_qLc5YSlXHVNg16QXdJWfVpTrx3PdSHsCsMWy)

**Step 6:**\
After some minutes pass by, the “Confirm” button will turn blue. Please click on it and confirm the second transaction on the Ethereum side. In tests, it could take 10-20 minutes for this to occur.

![](https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/LRwxUEVU3RZykYzz73Qcogjm4NdGVXB9yT86PzjvqrQ0sDU-csz9ObcGLeg4p0QmL4G5rofvdhlaxXKz87kxEMi_xc-e7S9RZzSGl_UnUId7SmUIqHXDZSVuJF3bvfuind2zC897)

**Step 7:**\
The 2nd phase will also take a few minutes to complete, but after it does, a “Withdraw” button will appear in blue. This is a transaction on the Tezos side within the Temple wallet. The cost of the transaction on this side will be negligible as it stands today. Click on “Withdraw” to proceed.&#x20;

![](https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/MeP_bQYMNe4C9fuMgqIqqnJRm0BXBDzJ-2NfnBxtEuBgAEMq1S0th7PiIcAkRbZkotrigy3m6S-BAl2GurPtqFpj1OMlCXFB1ehHiAz0Q7B7y4qDuvBYUTpLBirU9A9gdSeQhKSr)

**Step 8:**\
Your tokens should appear in your wallet now! You can click on “Remove Bridge” to clear the page. You can now use your tokens on the Tezos network and a later date, use this process to move your tokens back to Ethereum. Congrats!

![](https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/goqFueq8JL0BjA7mfsBHkarFSJJwrBX3AKU7B2O-wfLy5rY8lfnzx1BxBWJtFa_4hmJLrgku42mTVV2mYLWXBFZnJ7hVUybDZ5_yvwXM1hwdlDSd-rwXKF8EPy0GkeOrsX4zjxU6)

**Step 9:**\
If your bridge gets stuck at any point after phase 1 or 2 and does not progress, you must wait for the timer to run out. At that point, a red button named “Refund” will appear and allow you to retrieve your tokens back. Please complete the “Refund” process before the new timer expires or it will be very difficult to retrieve your tokens.

For community-supported help in this process, please visit the [StakerBridge channel ](https://discord.gg/aDFwM64vAG)on the StakerDAO Discord.&#x20;

After some minutes pass by, the “Confirm” button will turn blue. Please click on it and confirm the second transaction on the Tezos side. In tests, it could take 10-20 minutes for this to occur.

![](https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/0JOL-T1KbPSiixw5qwQKV_ju1ddyePDsfsr3qmNTSwR1rlmT47JVSC848mJhoebsIriMr_X-yr8klzgD2yrgmtSiBxSbLvTokSkpwNrGhJiic7PZcZG1KMPrriRQl-_Pc7uXdmNF)

**Step 7:**\
The 2nd phase will also take a few minutes to complete, but after it does, a “Withdraw” button will appear in blue. This is a transaction on the Ethereum side within the MetaMask wallet. Click on “Withdraw” to proceed.&#x20;

![](https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/OmXoBJ0IcA3sA22viLOr_C9aXeuQ-GFbAC2zB3rNr3zcas_sShqJXhOnGEaHcIJfhgOyNz7K5Fk4mDL6GcGCquOZiVZ0gcXhfMhP_G8GfEQG2ELDkrAqRvTB-7MyUFNFR4NED24G)

**Step 8:**\
Your tokens should appear in your wallet now! You can click on “Remove Bridge” to clear the page. You can now use your tokens on the Ethereum network and at a later date, use this process to move your tokens back to Tezos. Congrats!

![](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/uJGYJc1NGXPTLxdWZOxT_yIY_MW4qWB6XuUENONzlq2_dx9xx-APojQ4Qfzj-KBiFU0mOgwXWtyUogaeJfwL8dqlGc6asy1MLbpezlmBeWe48GvNHhjHHZDteDnO9sqH4UYFQTu5)

# Wrapped Tezos (wXTZ) FAQ and Docs

This space will guide you through the recently asked questions about wXTZ and connect you to our Github/APIs.

## What is wXTZ?

**Wrapped Tezos (wXTZ) is a fully collateralized representation of XTZ** [**conforming to the FA1.2 token standard**](https://gitlab.com/tzip/tzip/blob/master/proposals/tzip-7/tzip-7.md) **- a collateralized staking position that unlocks the power of DeFi.**<br>

![](https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/zEaNd2AyzUxZC_uZbmmvrl84AoG-iViUQsErDznmxUz8wz04JlBkwdT7v9tcETxXp-iQIfXn7YKfUn01iGABRR204LpxII4iM_iDsYkAtRf-zeJr7IvDTKvTDGvEGWo7tR_ybmI1)

* **LIQUID** — wXTZ will be liquid and may be used as a standard developer building block (FA1.2) for Tezos DeFi, and to participate in DeFi systems on Tezos.
* **COLLATERALIZED** — Each wXTZ token will be collateralized with 1 Tez (XTZ).
* **REWARDS** — Locked XTZ generates staking rewards from the baker of users' choice.
* **SECURE** — The suite of wXTZ contracts is audited by Trail of Bits and managed by StakerDAO.
* **FEES** — Interacting with wXTZ will have no fees by StakerDAO at launch (contracts interaction requires only the standard network fees on the Tezos network). Changes to the fee structure will be managed by the StakerDAO governance process. NON-CUSTODIAL - XTZ used to collateralize wXTZ is managed by the user's private keys. Only the user has access to their XTZ vault.

#### **The Development Team Behind wXTZ - Stove Labs**

The idea for wXTZ was born in the StakerDAO community, and the development team that built it was Stove Labs.\
\
Curious to learn more about Stove Labs and their work? Make sure to check out their [website](https://stove-labs.com/) & [twitter](https://twitter.com/stove_labs).

Following the launch of the wXTZ beta, Stove is building a website to allow anyone to create wXTZ vaults with the Thanos wallet. To learn more about Stove Labs wXTZ Vault Manager, click [here](http://wrapped-xtz.com/).

## How wXTZ Works

![](/files/-MPoppStWVJ5MNPkflt1)

* At launch, wrapping is available in [Galleon wallet](https://cryptonomic.tech/galleon.html). Additional services to wrap XTZ and manage wXTZ vaults can be deployed by the community.
* Users who wrap their XTZ can delegate their baking rights to their baker of choice.
* [Here](https://youtu.be/Y3MrRtLE4nc) is a walkthrough video of the process.

## What are the Anticipated Benefits and Use Cases?

* **DEVELOPER TOOLS —** wXTZ will be liquid and may be used as a standard developer building block (FA1.2) for Tezos DeFi. Wrapped Tezos conforms the base layer asset to the FA1.2 token standard making it easier for builders to work with the L1 asset in their DeFi applications and Dapps
* **INCREASED YIELD  —** Receive staking rewards while utilizing wXTZ to further increase yield (e.g use your wXTZ in yield generating dApps and DeFi applications while continuing to receive your baking rewards from your baker of choice).

## StakerDAO Governance: Wrapped Tezos (5L8LRHCaB)

wXTZ was the eighth proposal submitted by the Staker Operations team (Ops) based on STKR token holder feedback. The purpose of the proposal was to introduce two major developments to the StakerDAO ecosystem, STKR 2.0 (STKR) and Wrapped Tezos (wXTZ).

**Proposal 008 - StakerDAO 2.0 and Wrapped Tezos (5L8LRHCaB) Upvoters**

## **How to mint, send, and manage Wrapped Tezos (wXTZ) within Galleon**

*\*Please note transactions may take up to a few minutes\**

DO NOT SEND YOUR WXTZ TO THE KT1 ADDRESS OR THE TOKEN CONTRACT ADDRESS (...NaH). **ONLY SEND TO YOUR TZ1 MANAGER ADDRESS!!! PLEASE USE TEST DEPOSITS.**

### **Getting Started**

**Step 1:**\
If you haven’t already, download the Galleon Wallet application: [Link](https://github.com/Cryptonomic/Deployments/wiki/Galleon:-Releases)\
\*Always verify your links. Galleon links are available from the Cryptonomic website. (<https://cryptonomic.tech/galleon.html>).

**Step 2:**\
If you already use Galleon, this will be an update. You will be able to use your current keys. If you are new to Galleon, open up the application and “Create New Wallet”\
*Note: You may use a Ledger, however, your Ledger will display the transactions as an “Unrecognized Operation” as the Tezos ledger app doesn’t support parsing smart contract invocations. There is no need to be alarmed.*

![](https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/7j-gN84nrsr_VPja5GmEFxTRM-Er1imX3p2VXG-OIO33SI3UctQhl4c8_gUuCIrXJ4oMilS1qQtm-o8-3iovGNokQ0Xt210gor8eCllP6Rrw1T8QhW4muwHuzKixSg9szJ69Rtwg)

**Step 3:**\
New users will go through the process of creating a password, creating a new account, and backing up your seed phrase

### **Open a Vault**

**A Vault is a special tool (smart contract) that lets the owner deposit and lock Tez (XTZ) collateral to generate wXTZ.**&#x20;

* **Users can return wXTZ and unlock their XTZ at any time.**&#x20;
* **XTZ/wXTZ Vaults are non-custodial and are managed by the user’s private keys. Only the user has access to their XTZ/wXTZ vault.**

**Step 4:**\
Once you're inside the application, you will see the main page as well as your tz1 address. You will need to send yourself XTZ to mint wXTZ if you do not yet have XTZ in the wallet. &#x20;

![](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/Js_-50x3LMSGaEwXKcONyyzah1ieLw9nYVRN3objBrSeHEJIHdchxKT85hsJFRDAvrr0frfyNxvq7FstTUk9JTtFK94H0YaUIQQ8Xtlzw7TrgHt22DBhqGHYfvDbMEZj5eN0bNdb)

**Step 5:**\
After you've received XTZ into your Galleon wallet, click on the wXTZ image on the left hand side under "Tokens". Then click on the "Vaults" tab.

![](https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/9LWaGIeC9riW5CuNqrgDh18JLSGulle7sOeGQVkoS8h6wYYwIEL0MPzbQtxks9AmFWsVPpMoNRlE_HknwQWvm5CXcV-eDkwFGxjq8IjJTY5EHnFD-ngq5JVQL_-da2ire5Od7J16)

**Step 6:**\
Select “Deploy New Vault”. You can select your baker of choice, the gas price to confirm the transaction, and your password to confirm origination. You can always change your baker later.\
*Note: You can find a list of bakers on a site like* [*Baking Bad*](https://baking-bad.org/) *or directly on the baker’s website.*

![](https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/Fiu-tVzxWN-ovqDSRt78KryED9hCx96HE-XXMVUarLUfwxDXyLgBhL1FQ3DOodPQfYcvxb7XfmSfaly7XZ17qC5w7cwqY6052D1wla6uwnosVuD984BHuFdTKUVSFP_Uqlp2QHXW)

### **Minting and Withdrawing**

**Step 7:**\
Once your transaction is confirmed, you will be able to add XTZ into the Vault. Please select an amount, and the Tezos network transaction fee.

If you are not using a ledger, you’ll need to enter your wallet password before hitting “Deposit”.

If you are using a ledger, simply hit “Deposit” and confirm the operation on your ledger. Remember, the Tezos Ledger app can’t parse custom operations so the operation will be displayed as “Unrecognized Operation”. There is no need to be alarmed.&#x20;

&#x20;price, and your password then click “Deposit”.

![](https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/X1pAKy4vb6Bj1aqDPQWbWCRDG8fAGqpQAXgc6WdZVU-qKyRPVxDTxZYKKfrCWHrHvdgAqEw6oQt7hcEGBqNErVvhWLh5-d3nn_Ordvrji515l_jgiQI_Yba-1kpqCNLn7si2Ef8Q)

**Step 8:**\
You now have Wrapped Tezos (wXTZ)! You can always add more XTZ into your Vault, add/change your baker under "Set Delegate", or withdraw, which we will discuss further below.

![](https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/tJS6wjeUkzl4RbQJ7sq-_XiHjHT7BWNwOsyzng8-oTKCKl2kHqJk_nOBlXg5H1nf12FPk25cqOcllXgBZijf4SPkyeKnOtAuE-IK9k624VtnFls0of6EMdDQwz_6dSMNeSxNzihQ)

**Step 9:**\
If you want to send your wXTZ elsewhere like to Thanos (check out our Thanos guide further below), select the “Send” tab. You can input the tz1 address, the amount, the network fee, your password, and “Send”.

![](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/5hvUye5iKavW3QBfvacaFHlArn4ETwopl3pdho-2oseaOJH5VnJahZs-alfcpArep3dUEkkpeUA_WGS9qTEr38jD0hgxiFZEGTYUeAJfoy9CJhJUYks7CCPsZtjoYr-gXKXfCFEX)

**Step 10:**\
At any point in time, you can send wXTZ back to Galleon. Make sure to use the tz1 address on your Manager address page!

**Step 11:**\
Lastly, if you want to withdraw the XTZ in your vault, go back to the “Vaults” tab and click on a Vault you want to withdraw from. You will have to hold an equal amount of wXTZ in the Galleon wallet to the amount of XTZ you want to withdraw.\
*Note: wXTZ tokens are fungible and therefore any wXTZ is redeemable for the XTZ in your vault*

![](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/k9Ml-1w8Khcodr4KsVON_Kw6lWauK27ugIWIy-afHT_j2qP_vNcj0vkmqCKGLkUMn5XFDPoT9doFwz-JcqVYwcx7KEQwhWGs1TsD8cLv1VzRE7PrsUHxADAcuGFnoc9BmnOiLUyE)

**That should be everything you need to get started on DEXter!**

> *A note about the expected volatility of wXTZ: Wrapped Tezos represents a new asset class on Tezos. It is directly exchangeable for 1 XTZ but only by users who have a XTZ vault with a positive balance and a desire to burn wXTZ can unlock their XTZ. At any given time, especially before there is ample external utility and more liquidity for wXTZ, it is likely that wXTZ will not stay closely pegged to XTZ. Expect significant volatility.*

## **How to add wXTZ on MetaMask**

**Step 1:** Click on MetaMask and scroll down in the Assets tab to "Add Token".&#x20;

**Step 2:** Select "Custom Token" and input the following information:

wXTZ Token Contract:

```
0x2A69655C22eDa32ff48d315bB26ED45f150700b4
```

## Interacting with **wXTZ** contracts

*StakerDAO has provided some basic documentation below. Feel free to reach out to us at <partnerships@stakerdao.com> if you need help integrating or further clarifications.*

### **Wrapped Tezos is made up of three components:**

1. A FA1.2 Compliant Token: Controls the wXTZ tokens
2. Many “Vault” Contracts which are originated for users. Vaults hold Tez which collateralize the wXTZ tokens
3. A “Core” contract which originates Vaults on behalf of users and which coordinates interactions between Vaults and the token contract.

StakerDAO manages a Delphinet and Mainnet deployment of Wrapped Tezos. Relevant contract addresses are:

**Delphinet**:

* Token: [KT1TDHL9ipKL8WW3TMPvutbLh9uZBdY9BU59](http://delphi.tzkt.io/KT1TDHL9ipKL8WW3TMPvutbLh9uZBdY9BU59)
* Core: [KT1AZ6Kuj6FpbVJdoizwUxVqTSF2nYbTFzeQ](https://delphi.tzkt.io/KT1AZ6Kuj6FpbVJdoizwUxVqTSF2nYbTFzeQ)

**Mainnet:**

* Token: [KT1VYsVfmobT7rsMVivvZ4J8i3bPiqz12NaH](https://tzkt.io/KT1VYsVfmobT7rsMVivvZ4J8i3bPiqz12NaH)
* Core: [KT1V4Vp7zhynCNuaBjWMpNU535Xm2sgqkz6M](https://tzkt.io/KT1V4Vp7zhynCNuaBjWMpNU535Xm2sgqkz6M)

There are no “authoritative” vault contracts as there will be many vaults contracts.

### **Token Contract Interaction**

The token contract conforms to the [TZIP-7 specification](https://gitlab.com/tzip/tzip/blob/master/proposals/tzip-7/tzip-7.md) for an FA1.2 contract. Developers should refer to the specification to understand how to interact with the token contract.

### **Core Contract**

The Core contract is permissioned. The only functionality available publicly is the ability to request a vault.

Users can request a new vault by:

* Packing bytes representing the vault owner and initial delegate in the form of pair (option key\_hash) address, where the optional key\_hash is the initial baker and the address is the vault owner
* Invoking the Core contract with:\
  Amount = 0 XTZ\
  Entrypoint = ‘runEntrypointLambda’\
  Parameter = ‘Pair “createOven” 0x\<bytes from step one>’

### **Vault Contracts**

An example Vault contract can be seen at [KT1DsemgwT17v6Ch93oRheHwKFGCkdXRjUwP](https://tzkti.io/KT1DsemgwT17v6Ch93oRheHwKFGCkdXRjUwP)**.** Remember, there are many vaults.

Vaults have an “owner” who owns the rights to the XTZ in the vault. This field can be seen in the Vault’s storage.

**Users can perform three functions:**

**1.Deposit**: Locks XTZ in the vault and mints wXTZ to the Vault Owner’s address. Anyone can deposit into the vault.

Invoke the Vault contract with:

* Amount = \<Amount to deposit>
* Entrypoint = \`default\`
* Parameter = ‘Unit’

**2. Withdraw**: Burns wXTZ from the Vault Owner’s address and transfers XTZ from the Vault to the Owner’s address in the vault and mints wXTZ to the Vault Owner’s address. Only the Vault owner may call withdraw.

Invoke the Vault contract with:

* Amount =0 XTZ
* Entrypoint = \`withdraw\`
* Parameter = ‘\<nat>’ : A natural number representing the number of mutez to withdraw.

**3. SetDelegate**: Sets the baker for the Vault. Only the Vault owner may call SetDelegate.

Invoke the Vault contract with:

* Amount =0 XTZ
* Entrypoint = \`setDelegate\`
* Parameter = ‘Some \<baker address>’ or ‘None’ :

## The Baker’s Info Kit

As part of wrapping XTZ, users will be able to delegate their vault to a Baker of their choice. Many XTZ holders will want to continue their relationship with their existing Baker, and we are providing this information so that you can support these users, and successfully interact with the wXTZ contract when you send users their rewards.

**Rewards payout fees:**

Bakers should be aware that staking done through the wXTZ contracts will increase reward payout fees. This is because the wXTZ smart contracts execute code upon receiving rewards.

Additionally, Bakers should be aware that the StakerDAO governance model may upgrade wXTZ smart contracts from time to time which may change payout fees. Therefore hardcoding fees is not recommended.

Bakers should contact the distributors of their reward distribution software to better understand the options available to them. StakerDAO is in conversations with Tezos Rewards Distributor (TRD) to support this functionality out of the box.

**Not Recommended:**

If you’d like to hardcode fees to payout vaults, we recommend the following parameters for maximum safety:

* Fee: 0.018000 XTZ (18000 Mutez)
* Gas Limit: 150,000 units

Storage Limit: 10 bytes

## The Wallets and Partners Info Kit

StakerDAO partners can offer more useful tools to end users with wXTZ.

The “Vault and mint” solution offers new value-added services, such as the ability to create a vault and mint the wrapped token for clients wishing to increase yield

Staker integration Partners — reach out to <Partnerships@stakerdao.com> to offer vaulting and minting services to your customers.
